Greetings, Division 20,

April is our traditional election month and we will conduct the election of the Division Officers for 2012-2013 at our next meeting. Joe Schmidtke, our current Lt Governor-Elect, from Omaha Westside, will be the candidate for the Lt Governor 2012-2013 position. We are looking for someone to step forward as the candidate for Lt Governor-Elect 2012-2013. Please put out the word to your Clubs.

And speaking of elections, remember Club election results are due to KI by June 1. That means you should be holding your election of Club Officers for 2012-2013 no later than the second week of May. Additionally, the tentative date for Club Leadership Education (CLE) this year is June 2. This training is directed to the incoming President (current President-Elect) and Secretary/Treasurer.

At the March Meeting Roger Givens asked for the forms identifying Club Chairs for the ELIMINATE project. If you do not have the forms they are available here. Click on the graphic for the form and it will download a pdf. Please print the form, fill it out and return it to either Roger Givens or Linda Placzek as soon as possible.

I would like to hear back from Club Presidents on the planned activities for Kiwanis One Day. This event is April 21 and is intended to provide opportunities for publicity as well as service. Encourage members and SLPs to participate and use news releases to local papers and media for the event.

The April Meeting will be presided over by Omaha-Loveland Golden K, our speaker will be Linda Henningson, the District Administrator for K-Kids, who will be explaining the BUG and Terrific Kids Programs
